Crafting Cards in Magic Arena
Magic Arena is a digital version of the popular Magic: The Gathering card game, and it has quickly become the premier way to play the game online. Players can choose from a variety of different decks and game modes, and they also have the ability to craft their own cards using the in-game currency known as Wildcards. Crafting cards can be a daunting task, as there are so many options, but this guide will provide players with the basics of how to craft cards in Magic Arena.
Understand the Different Types of Wildcards
The first step to crafting cards in Magic Arena is to understand the different types of Wildcards that are available. Wildcards come in four different rarities: common, uncommon, rare, and mythic. Players can only craft one card per Wildcard, so it is important to understand the value of each Wildcard. Common Wildcards can be used to craft any common card, uncommon Wildcards can be used to craft any uncommon card, rare Wildcards can be used to craft any rare card, and mythic Wildcards can be used to craft any mythic card.
Choose the Right Card
Once the player has a basic understanding of the different Wildcards, they will need to decide which card they want to craft. This can be a difficult decision, as there are so many cards to choose from. Before crafting a card, players should consider the card’s cost and what deck they are playing. For example, if a player is playing a Mono-White deck, they should probably craft cards that have a low cost and are White. Players should also consider the card’s effects, as some cards may be more powerful than others. Finally, players should make sure that the card they are crafting is a card they will actually use in their deck.
Gather the Necessary Resources
Once the player has decided which card they want to craft, they will need to gather the necessary resources. To craft a card, players need the appropriate Wildcard and the required amount of gold. The amount of gold required depends on the rarity of the card: common cards require 1 gold, uncommon cards require 3 gold, rare cards require 5 gold, and mythic cards require 10 gold. Players can earn gold by playing in matches and completing daily quests, so it’s important to make sure they have enough gold before they craft a card.
Craft the Card
Once the player has the necessary Wildcard and gold, they can craft the card. To craft a card, the player simply needs to go to the Collection tab, select the Wildcard they want to use, and then select the card they want to craft. Once the card is crafted, it will appear in the player’s collection and can be used in their decks.
Conclusion
Crafting cards in Magic Arena can be a daunting task, but with a little bit of knowledge and preparation, it can be a rewarding experience. By understanding the different types of Wildcards and choosing the right card for their deck, players can craft powerful cards that will help them win more matches. So take your time, choose wisely, and get ready to win some games with your newly crafted cards!
