How to Make Little Origami Hearts

Origami has been around for centuries, but it is still popular today. It is a great way to express creativity and have fun at the same time. Making little origami hearts is a great way to show someone you care. It doesn’t take much time or effort, but it can mean a lot to someone. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make little origami hearts.

Step 1: Gather the Supplies

Before you start making origami hearts, you’ll need to gather the necessary supplies. You’ll need a piece of origami paper (traditional origami paper is best, but regular paper will work too). You’ll also need a ruler and a pair of scissors. If you’re using regular paper, you may also need a pencil to draw the lines.

Step 2: Cut Out the Shapes

Once you have the supplies, you’ll need to cut out the shapes. Take the ruler and draw a rectangle on the origami paper. The rectangle should be about 3 inches by 4 inches. Then, take the scissors and cut out the rectangle. Next, draw a line down the center of the rectangle. This will be the fold line. Finally, cut out a heart shape from the rectangle.

Step 3: Fold the Heart

Now it’s time to fold the heart. Fold the paper in half along the line you drew in the previous step. Then, fold the two sides inwards so they meet in the middle. Finally, fold the two sides down so they meet in the middle. This will create a three-dimensional heart shape.

Step 4: Secure the Folds

Once you’ve created the heart shape, you’ll need to secure the folds. Take a piece of tape and place it on the back of the heart. This will help to keep the shape in place. You can also use glue if you prefer.

Step 5: Add Details

Once the heart shape is secure, you can add details. You can use a marker to draw designs on the heart or add glitter to give it a sparkly look. You can also add beads or sequins for a decorative touch. The possibilities are endless!

Step 6: Enjoy!

When you’re done, you can display your origami heart or give it to someone special. Making little origami hearts is a great way to show your love and appreciation. So take some time to make a few today and enjoy the process!
