What You Need To Craft Max’s Severed Head
Making a replica of Max’s severed head can be a fun, creative project for those looking to show off their crafting skills. It can also be a great addition to any horror-themed decor. To craft Max’s severed head, you will need the following materials:
- Balloon
- Flour
- Water
- Salt
- Paper Mache
- Paint
- Scissors
- Wire
- PVA glue
- A photograph of Max’s face
- A mannequin head
Making the Paper Mache Head
The first step in crafting Max’s severed head is to make the paper mache head. In a large bowl, mix together equal parts flour, salt and water. Make sure the mixture is smooth and free of lumps. Once the mixture is ready, blow up a balloon until it is the size of a human head. Dip strips of newspaper in the paper mache mixture and stick them onto the balloon until the entire balloon is covered. Let the paper mache head dry overnight.
Once the paper mache head is dry, carefully cut off the top of the head and pull out the balloon. You should be left with a hollow paper mache head.
Adding the Details to the Head
The next step is to add the details to the head. Start by cutting out the eyes, nose, and mouth using scissors. Make sure the eyes and mouth are large enough to fit the photograph of Max’s face. Once the eyes, nose, and mouth are cut out, add the wire to the inside of the head. This will act as the framework for the face.
Next, glue the photograph of Max’s face onto the paper mache head. Make sure the eyes, nose, and mouth line up with the holes cut out in the paper mache head. Once the photograph is glued down, add the mannequin head to the inside of the head. This will help give the head the shape of a real head.
Painting and Finishing the Head
The last step in crafting Max’s severed head is to paint it. Use a thin layer of white paint to cover the entire head. Once the paint is dry, use a thicker layer of paint to give the head a more realistic look. You can also add veins and other details to the head using paint.
Once the paint is dry, you should have a realistic-looking replica of Max’s severed head. You can now display it as a decoration or use it as a prop in a horror-themed play or movie.
